When I first took up the coaching position in my twenties, I was at a loss and felt confused when facing the first batch of trainees. I couldn’t determine whether the training methods were reasonable or not.
During the second five-year period of my coaching career, the team began to win national championships. But I was well aware that during the initial stage, the team was just spinning its wheels idly, which indeed wasted a lot of time. Among the few players I had, they all followed my training methods exactly in the early training period. When encountering bottlenecks, they often relied on their own meager knowledge to solve the problems.
When my training entered its third five-year period, there were more and more top-notch players. In contrast, when I reviewed my previous training, I found more shortcomings. Every leap forward inevitably leads to an all-round improvement, and my horizons also broaden accordingly. My gaze now focuses more on outstanding peers and those around me who are also excellent. However, I am still a frog trapped in a well.
The URSOT swimming training APP is not perfect and has been constantly being improved throughout its development.
